Academic Background

Marco Habrik studied law at the University of Zurich from where he graduated in1993. Between 1999 and 2000, he pursued postgraduate studies, with an emphasis on international trade law, at the New York University School of Law (“LL.M. in General Legal Studies”). Since 2007, he is also a Certified Specialist SBA Employment Law.

Professional Activities

Between 1994 and 1997, Marco Habrik was a law clerk at the District Court of Meilen. Between 1995 and 1997, he was also active as Presiding Judge of the Mediation Agency in Tenancy Concerns of the District of Meilen. He was admitted to the Bar of the Canton of Zurich in 1997. Thereafter, he worked as a high court law clerk at the Commercial Court of the Canton of Zurich. Between 1998 and 1999, he additionally served as an Associate Judge at the District Court of Meilen. Mr. Habrik has been with Nobel & Hug since 2000 (partner since 2010.)
